The Story So Far
I founded futureTECH in March 2012 with a clear mission: to provide the kind of personal technology service people had been longing for — no jargon, no hassle, no frustrating retail visits, no panic. Delivered with a personal touch.
My background is unusually broad. I earned a BCom in Accounting from the University of Port Elizabeth in 2005, working as an auditor and trainee accountant at PKF, before becoming Financial Manager at Volpes.
My passion for technology and writing led me to become a Technology Journalist at iafrica.com and later The Herald/Weekend Post (2013–2016), a Vodacom Ambassador (2014–2015), and a guest lecturer at Nelson Mandela University.
Today, I work with international organisations and individuals across multiple disciplines — from forensic data recovery and expert witness testimony in legal proceedings to corporate cloud migrations and cybersecurity.
